Parallel Upload: "Shock the EU" + My Experience with CapCut 🎬🎵
Hi ho,
I decided to parallel upload my newest music track.
The Visuals: Fighting the CapCut Paywall ✂️
This time, I decided to level up the presentation and create a slideshow with on-screen captions for the video. I did this using CapCut. My Google AI actually recommended it to me!
Overall, it is much better than my pre-installed Movie Maker video editor, but it comes with a catch: like most freeware these days, a lot of the coolest functions are hidden behind a paywall. The program constantly nags you to upgrade to the Pro version, which can be a bit annoying, but it got the job done.
The Message: Why I Am Anti-EU 🇪🇺❌
I don't want to write a novel about the EU, but my stance is clear. I have been anti-EU since childhood, and that has never changed.
In a democracy, the larger the governed body, the less a single vote actually counts. Personally, I want my vote to count as much as possible. Even I didn't foresee just how bad the EU would become, but their ambition to become a sort of "United States of Europe" suprastate was always there — and it was always ugly.
Please don't use the standard argument that Germany needs the EU to be relevant. Germany is, after all, the third-largest economy in the world. We would wield much more influence if we actually behaved like it, instead of constantly trying to find a compromised "European way."
What is your opinion on the EU?
Do you prefer localized democracy, or do you think the suprastate model works? Let's get a discussion going in the comments below!
