Okay, here goes nothing:
Whitney belongs on every list, I do believe... and this song from the film "The Bodyguard" with her and Kevin Costner has become one of her iconic hits. A must listen.
This is one of the better-known tunes off the hit album, "Gordon". If you're not familiar with these dudes, you just may fall in love for a spell. Very creative stuff. The song "Brian Wilson" is another favorite of mine from the same album.
This band still has a cult following, and they produced quite a few radio hits during their short road before the lead singer, Shannon Hoon, died. This song from their debut self-titled 1992 album is one of my favorites... more pure and simple than other album selections, but I highly recommend giving the whole thing a listen.
