Holy crap! I haven't posted in ages, and I only have a half hour to meet the #HivePUD deadline... can I do it? Can I lay down a single stone worth stepping on, and which will begin the road back? I really do hope so!
And if you're reading this right now, it means I've succeeded on some level. I'll publish it if I make the deadline, which is 7pm in my neighbourhood. :)
Hive Power-Up Day, Yo!
Once upon a time, I was a pretty regular badge-carrying member of the #PowerUpDay club... and I was much more consistent with my curation and engagement. For various reasons, life got a bit hectic and heavy.
Many of you can likely relate to that kind of stuff. Life still is a bit heavier and more hectic than I would like... but the show must go on, as they say, and I should pick a role and play it.
I choose Superman.
But Seriously: I'm Here.
And I've been here on Hive, in a passive way. I always play #RisingStar, and I keep an active eye on my Engine portfolio. But that's not nearly enough to be a Hivian superhero!
I need to do better, in so many ways. I want to write more and start engaging again. There is also a chess community here that I need to engage with, as I get a better grasp of the game.
And I have one major Hive-related project that I have yet to launch in a real way... so it's safe to say I can get to going anytime now. There are good reasons to blaze a trail forward.
And here I am: I've met the deadline. (One small step for man.) Now it's up to me to get my ass back here to engage with readers-- tonight, tomorrow and so on-- and to digest some great content, show some love and write more of my own content!
