While exploring the ever-evolving internet, I came across a new thing called, "Steemit". (If you're reading this, then you've obviously found my page!)
I just signed up. -It looks for all intents and purposes like any other blog site, but for one critical difference: it uses blockchain cryptography to ensure that posts don't vanish down the censorship hole, allowing one to post items without Mark Zuckerberg creepily playing mind games with your content.
I'm still learning the ins and outs of the system, but it looks like it might be a neat way to route around the surveillance state. It also converts "Likes" into crypto-currency. (I think..?? That's another whole night or two of research.)
Anyway, I put up some early Jenny stuff to kind of get my feet wet and figure out what it's all about.
Anyway.., this is my handle here:

That led to one of the moderators saying, "If you can draw me, then I'll start up an account for you." (You're not automatically signed up. There's an approval process. Which seems like it might be a Good Thing.)
I took the challenge, (why not? I have a big digital drawing board right in front of me), and drew a quick sketch. The only reference picture I had to work with was a loaf of bread. Sure. Why not? Ha ha!
