On my first trip to Europe with my wife,I needed to use the restroom at the train station in Munich,as my wife patiently waited for me. I got there just as my bowels started to erupt...whew put my coin in the stall, closed the door and locked it.
Finishing what was a bowl filling movement...ahh relief at last.I then attempted to open the stall door...it would not open, now the door on this stall was the largest I'd ever seen .I'm 6'3" tall not a small guy,the door being about 8' tall and the space under the door only about 12".No way was I going to get under that!
Now being a proud American and not wanting to embarrass myself or my country ,I did not want to ask the strangers outside
this stall for help. Some were washing up,others standing at the urinals.
What to do? I waited till I thought the place had emptied out, climbed on top of the toilet, threw my leg up over the door, pulled myself up,but to my surprise there were guys at the urinals peeing, seeing me in my position they jumped and stared up at me with their rods in there hands peeing every direction! Agast I did my best Swedish cook imitation(you know from the muppets),dropped down off my elevated perch, still streaming my Swedish speak and left(being watched cautiously by my amazed male counterparts). Now this whole adventure had lasted about 35 minutes,as I got to my wife she looked at me with those eyes( you know Those Eyes) asking what had taken so long...not answering right away I hustled her to the farthest part of the station, not wanting to see my bathroom buddies again...my wife hearing the story roared with laughter, yuking it up to my great embarrassment...I have never heard the end of it!! My wife still enjoys telling the story to all who will listen!!
Moral don't crap in Munich!
