Me uno una vez más al concurso Energy Refill donde cada semana nos invitan a reflexionar sobre una frase que han seleccionado, en esta ronda 08 la frase es:

Cuando leo esta frase me viene a la mente la frecuencia con la que nos atacan las opiniones de otras personas, sobre todo cuando son críticas destructivas y el poder que tienen esas opiniones para invadir nuestro pensamiento, haciéndonos perder el tiempo explicando todo lo que hacemos y por qué tenemos razón en hacerlo.
Entiendo que uno, por naturaleza, siempre quiere defenderse, pero es más importante utilizar nuestro tiempo para lograr nuestros objetivos. Como cuando dicen:
When I read this sentence it comes to my mind how often we are attacked by other people's opinions mainly when they are destructive criticisms and the power that those opinions have to invade our thinking, making us waste time explaining everything we do and why we are right to do it.
I understand that one by nature always wants to defend oneself but it is more important to use our time to achieve our goals. Like when they say:
Mientras otros hablan, critican, opinan como si lo supieran todo, uno está feliz y en paz, alcanzando la meta.
Es bueno probar lo que queremos sin importar lo que digan los demás, porque si hay alguien a quien no debemos decepcionar es a nosotros mismos, no podemos ir por la vida complaciendo y haciendo felices a los demás cuando realmente no lo somos. Siempre habrá personas que quieran opinar sobre la vida de los demás como si tuvieran razón y la verdad es que todos tenemos razón pero según lo que hemos vivido y como seres humanos somos únicos, cada uno tiene una perspectiva, experiencia, actitud o energía diferente ante la vida.
He vivido con una persona a la que le encanta involucrarse en la vida de los demás, dar opiniones, juzgar y criticar. Es inútil tener una conversación con esa persona porque sólo su forma de pensar, vivir y actuar es correcta y no hay nadie que la aleje de esa idea, es una disputa interminable.
La vida es para disfrutarla y la mejor manera de hacerlo es haciendo lo que nos hace felices, aceptando todo lo que contribuya a nuestro crecimiento personal y profesional. Tarde o temprano seremos aceptados por personas que incluso nos apoyarán y acompañarán en nuestro viaje, pero nunca abandones tus metas y sueños por los demás, que la felicidad siempre dependa de ti al llegar a tu destino.
While others are talking, criticizing, giving opinions as if they know everything, one is happy and at peace, reaching the goal.
It is good to try what we want no matter what others say, because if there is anyone we should not disappoint it is ourselves, we cannot go through life indulging and making others happy when we really are not. There will always be people wanting to have a say in the lives of others as if they were right and the truth is that we all are right but according to what we have lived and as human beings we are unique, each one has a different perspective, experience, attitude or energy towards life.
I have lived with a person who loves to get involved in the lives of others, to give opinions, to judge and criticize. It is useless to have a conversation with that person because only his way of thinking, living and acting is correct and there is no one to take it away from that idea, is endless dispute.
Life is to be enjoyed and the best way to do it is by doing what makes us happy, accepting everything that contributes to our personal and professional growth. Sooner or later we will be accepted by people who will even support and accompany us on our journey, but never abandon your goals and dreams for others, may happiness always depend on you as you reach your destination.
