When people are in a constant state of agitation, and their amygdala is activated which puts them in a constant state of fight or flight, they gravitate towards a hierarchical society. People who are relaxed and happy generally seem to want egalitarianism; whereas people who are frightened and defensive seem to feel that they need a strong leader. Therefore if you keep people in a constant state of fear and agitation, many will ultimately gravitate towards that hierarchical structure, which very much benefits those at the top of that hierarchy. The banking system, large multinational corporations (like the fossil fuel industry) which need access to resources around the world, and the military industrial complex, which always need an enemy to manufacture the consent of the populous to go into these countries, overthrow leaders (governments) and spread "freedom," which then allow these companies to go into other countries and extract their resources, reap the biggest rewards, and are the real hierarchy! Forget your elected officials, they are impotent and ineffectual for the general population.
Fear is a tremendous control mechanism and it is delivered on a daily basis by the corporate presstitute media and its propaganda model. War porn is one way to keep people in a constant state of fear; and all media outlets have been banging the drums of war in some form or fashion against a variety of countries, or made up enemies, over the past few years. It’s getting very stale and is extremely transparent. Here are some clips and techniques used to try and manufacture the consent of the populous to back the war profiteering racket by trying to scare the shit out of you.
