Hello everyone! I'm not a regular participant of the POBphotocontest mostly because I keep forgetting to submit my entry but I couldn't pass this one!
As someone who used to work as a bartender and still mixes some cocktails as a hobby, I think I'd have a better chance if this was a cocktail contest but I decided to give it a go either way :P
So here is my entry:
This is the Humuhumunukunukuapua'a! I promise you that I didn't make this up! It is a real cocktail and that's its real name! Look it up and see for yourself :P
I originally made this drink when I bought a bottle of Orgeat, an almond syrup. I really like how the pineapple leaves can be incorporated into the drink so nicely!
This is made with gin, lemon juice, pineapple juice and Orgeat. If you would like the full recipe let me know in the comments :)
