I have seen some person just set up their business in a hidden locality without them carrying out proper research on how it will impact their business someday. I have also seen those who felt it does not matter. When I met with such people, my mind will just say that this are the people who just jumped into business because they heard that lots of money is been made from it. They never want to learn anything as an entrepreneur. When such business ended badly, they will be the one painting and scaring others away that have core intention of going into business.
It is so painful that these type of individuals or will I say half baked enterpreneur are all over the place painting business black and scolding people away. They make sure tell scare you away not to take that risk to venture the business life. They never care to learn that business is so broad as it covers different principles. If you make a silly mistake while running your, you will surely pay the price someday.
I was saying the above just for my readers especially those who wants to go into business. I want them to know that business have so many root, don't just venture into it because you see that people in it are making massive gain from it.
Deviating from that, let us talk about location in business.
When I was twenty one (21) years of age, there is this man that set up his business in my locality. He is into paint sales. He said before he ventured into his business, he first of all make sure that he base his business store in quick access road and this really played a huge role in his business. People were patronizing him so massively. The business was growing so massively not until the government said they want to dualize the road where his store is located. They end up destroying his paint store. This crippled his business at that moment. Now instead of looking for another store in a quick access and easy spotted place, he came to my locality where transportation is a big issue. He never knew the reason his business was booming back then was because it was located in a very easy road.
At first, people were still patronizing him but gradually things begin to change. At times, in a month he will manage to transact with just 10 customers, this is not how it use to be for him back. He became really worried. I called him and sit him down. I told him I know the issue with his business, he laughed because he sees me as too young to feed him with advice. We talked and finally I told him to relocate to an environment/locality where customers can easily locate him. After few months, he sees reason with me and move, today, he is back to the way things use to be for him. His business has hit apex height.
From the story above, try to know what business entails before jumping into it. And secondly, don't play with a good locality for your business. This will shoot your business to the stage you will never expect.
From the experience we have learnt above, we should have it in our mind that before you venture into any business, try to always make sure a good location is considered. If you skipped this part, along the line, you will dance to the tune of it. If your business is hidden and customers discovered that they need to squeeze their way just to get to you, they will get discourage and patronise another person running same business in a easy locality. It is one business principle that you should never toiled with. It works like magic. When I started my business, I did not have to run to different entrepreneurs partaining in one or two business for guise. I know locality is the base root of every business and it should be taken very serious.
