Humans are the funniest creatures on earth. Once you see things going well for them, you won't see them lamenting that they made a lot of money and all that but when things goes south, you will see them lamenting as if they got no hope. On the 23rd of December 2020, me and my friends were in a meeting discussing our business target for 2021 and the big question set's in. Review your 2020.
When the question was asked, you have to see how people were busy counting how they passed through hell and all that. I was just really surprised. We know 2020 was bad but am pretty sure it is not that bad after all, it still opens opportunities for lots of individual.
While listening to stories and all that, I observed that those who companied where the set of people who couldn't make opportunities out of hard lock. During the 2020 saga, I met a business man who did the extraordinary. I tagged it extraordinary because immediately the Covid 19 came on board, he started selling nose mask. He bough almost all the nose mask available in our locality. We all were laughing at him not knowing that he knew what he was doing.
As an African man I was thinking the Corona virus won't spread more than the initial stage. While seeing him accumulating more nose mask, we all in same business were just laughing. Like as I said earlier, as a smart business he was busy doing the needful i.e using the opportunities that corona virus created perfectly. The funniest thing was that he even walk up to me to borrow him money and I asked him what he wanted to use the money for, he said he wanted to use it to buy more nose mask, I laughed at him and jokingly told him he his mad.
He pressed for the loan which I had to give him after observing some circumstances. I called him almost everyday to make mockery of him. While I do that, he laugh and said I will be surprised. Despite all the laughing from friends and families, he never allow that stopped him from what he is seeing ahead.
The unexpected happened. We were surprised to see that the rate at which people were getting affected by Corona virus was massive so our government had to put all necessary measures in place to ensure that the spread is curb. He announced that it is compulsory for everybody to get a nose mask and failure to do that will be locked up for a year. This rules and regulation must be obeyed with immediate effect. You need to see how I became cold seeing this news. I know the prices of nose mask will tripped. I ran to my friend and ask him to sell nose mask just to know the price. Although he gave me for free, but the price is something else.
The sweetest part is that he is the only one selling it in our locality. He bought all available nose mask very cheaply before the news of everybody having it surface. With this news, everybody were now rushing down to get one from him. In just 3 days, he sold all his nose nose mask and he mad lots of money. He called me and repayed the loan. Along the line, he sat me down and told me story of how this opportunity changed his life. He said when there is any global issue, I should seat down, research and investigate if such thing can be used to make money. He said he was certain that people will need nose mask along the line that is why he bought all available nose mask. His business decision changed his life as the smart choice he made by buying nose mask has changed his life perfectly. He is now the richest business man in our locality. This happened because he make use of that opportunity.
The bottom line here is for you to know that there is opportunities in every challenges, make use of them well.
