I got the boost to write this post base on the woman I met today. The conversation was amazing, healthy and full of life. I have always advice we all not to depend on our individual knowledge if you want to succeed in life. The more you ask, the more you get educated. Go out and meet with others and see how people are fairing well when it comes to business and all it attachment.
I was in my friends house discussing a business plan with him when the lady walks in. She is a friend to my friend so we all exchange greetings. She sat down and my friend asked her where she is coming from looking so tired, she went ahead and lament the story. She said she went out just to look for the rightful place where she can set up her business. I told her she should look for any motorable place and set up her business. She looked at me, laughed and said not all business are needed in such environment.
She went ahead to tell me that the type of businesss she wants to set up is that type of business that needs a hidden locality to thrill. I was really surprised hearing that. I asked her the type of business and she said she wants to be dealing on local spices and some other things. At a time I disagree but later I study it and said she is right. Not all business needs to be set up in an area that has good access.
I flashed back to when I wanted to start my business and my Uncle told me to consider locality as an important factor. After listening to his advice, I first of all take down the name of the business I want embark on and after that, I sit-down and memorise the type of environment that will suit my type of business. I have seen somebody who deals on food selling. She set up the business in a hidden environment, guess what, that is what ends the business. If you think about going to the hidden locality where she sets up the business, you will get discouraged along the line. This drives away customers from her and the business crumbles in a very down manner.
If you want to start a business, first of all visit the place and study the environment/locality. Make enquires to know if what you are about selling is what is needed in that locality. If you see that it is not needed, locate another place where it will be needed. If you are stubborn and you refuse to set up your business in a place where it is needed, you will regret a long the line.
Locality in business can be defined or seen as the place or site where your business is located. It has a very big impact when it comes to business. Locality in business impact your business in the following ways;
- Making quick sales: It helps to see you making quick sales because you set up the business in a locality where it is needed. People will keeps patronising you right and left.
Quick customers: When you set up the business in an environment/locality where it is needed, you will see yourself raking in more customers because on the fact that the goods and services you rendering is needed in that locality.
Quick growth: Your business will experience quick progress in any thing that you are doing because of the right locality that it is established at. You will see yourself expanding the business because it is growing rapidly.
From the above, we can see that setting your business in the rightful locality is a big plus to business growth. If you are able to decode this post properly you will see that locality in business is something you should take very serious.
