Here is a walk around tour of Ima Roma, a Ford Transit Mark I campervan conversion with quite a history behind her. She was built over many years by one of the Caravan and Campervan Association founders in New Zealand. It was also featured in many of the magazines produced by the club. Unfortunately the owner died not long after retirement and we purchased the van after seeing it parked up on the side of the road for sale. You will see from the movie that she was one tricked out little rig for it's time. With a worked V6 capri motor it gave us plenty of power to travel through NZ's amazing mountains. It was also our home while traveling with the House Truckers throughout the north and south islands. I would love to know where she is now, is she still alive. I hope who ever ended up with this beauty looked after her.
