So I’ve recently started playing splinterlands and wow this game can be overwhelming when starting but let’s try add some tips for all the newbies out there.
Try sign up with a referral link as you’ll likely be getting a reward sometime throughout the game.
Join the #splinterlands Discord group. Everyone is friendly and helps almost instantly. People also do giveaways which are great for newbies so that’s a nice boost.
With the spell book being only $10 it’s a great start to the game as $10 gives you access to many monsters from each Element.
If you’re looking at just splurging cash into the game be sure to look at the card levels before doing so. When buying cards be careful as your summoner level tells you which level card you can play. Therefore you need to buy the appropriate Summoner card for the level monsters you’ll be buying.
Example: A level 1 summoner can only play level 1 monsters. I’ve attached a card that shows level 1 on the left and level 10 on the right. It’s the same card with different levels so be careful when buying as you might not be able to play the card you have bought.
