Splinterlands was a cool game, but I don't see it going long term... It gets boring after a while, it needs more active playing. Just putting the cards in and letting the random algorithm do the rest is boring.

If it had more costumization of the cards and a different more active play style, it would be a lot cooler.

I remember playing the holy bread game and having more customization on my character, that was cool, but still needed more.

We still not there yet, I think atm the two best upcoming web3 games are star atlas and Illuvium.

And as a enthusiast of all things spacy, I'm really excited for Eve Frontier. And also Seraph: Into the Darkness (similar to Diablo).
