Oh! I love that analogy! Indeed, it's similar, but morons would think the issue is not the finger but the body that is completely broken.

In my country I see so many complaining that the state is too big, that the money is used to sustain and subsidize things nobody wants... and then I ask them, who do you vote for? And they always end up voting for the same guys that have been in power for decades and decades now, and that got us into a high debt/GDP, and that have taxed our economy all the way to the basement.

If you vote for the same don't expect a different result...
