Working in a big app that is available to millions of people is amazing, but at the same time it's not...

It's amazing because the work and effort you put in will be seen by millions of people, you can tell your friends "You see that, I did that, that whole screen was designed by me!"

But at the same time, one minor bug will also be seen by millions, one minor mistake will impact millions, and the complexity! Oh god... the complexity!

My current app has a core that is common to many countries and modules that are country specific. Sometimes implementing minor stuff is hard and requires many teams to communicate and operate together. And, since most people working here are employed from agencies, the teams start trying to throw work at each other.

"That can be done in the country"

So complex! But at least I learn a lot and get in contact with many different people.
