Honestly, I have no idea what went wrong with Trybe.
The issue with Trybe is the same issue I see with a lot of crypto social networks... they have no mechanism to create demand for the token, they are just waiting for someone to buy in, push the price a little up so they can dump on them! Staking and voting is not a mechanism that creates demand for the token! A mechanism to create demand for the token is something like Leo has which buys tokens with ad revenue from time to time and burns those tokens! That's what creates demand.
I was an early Trybe adopter, told the guys many times that the token needed demand from ads or it would go down to zero, they never paid any attention, the price kept going down and I told them again, and they ignored or told me ad revenue was bad! I've earned more money on LeoFinance in a couple of months casually posting than I ever did on trybe for the whole period of me posting there...
One thing I've realized since I came into this space... engineers/programmers are really smart guys, but most are total morons when it comes to economics and how to create price appreciation long-term...
