Weekend Engagement - I want a more straightforward username

Honestly, I'm not happy with my Hive username. I didn't like my username using my real name. There are two reasons; firstly, the username needs to be shorter, consisting of 12 characters. I'm worried that some Hivers might find it difficult to pronounce my name. Unless the Hiver copies and pastes my account name. I suggest to Hivers that if they do transactions for my account, they should count the number of characters in my username.

The second reason, perhaps for those unfamiliar with our native names in Aceh, is that you will find it difficult to spell. When you read my name, I'm sure it will sound so foreign to my ears.

Initially, I thought of using my real name to show my identity. I am proud of that name. The name consists of two words, "Teuku," a noble title from the Acehnese tribe, and "Mukhlis," which comes from an Arabic word meaning sincere. Moreover, I also used the name as a username on my social media, such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

But as time went on, a few years later, I began to realize that my username needed to be more apparent for Hivers from other parts of the world to remember. I planned to create a duplicate account. However, some other Hivers advised me against it. If I used a duplicate account, it would hurt my reputation. In the end, I followed the advice and kept my username @teukumukhlis.

Now, if I were allowed to change my username, I would choose @tm55 as my Hiver username. @tm55 seems more straightforward and accessible as it only consists of four characters. @tm55 also has its own meaning to me. TM stands for my own name, Teuku Mukhlis. While the number 55 is the date and month of my birth, which is May 5.

But unfortunately, I can't change my username the way I want now. Happy or not, I have to keep using my username as @teukumukhlis.
