On this occasion, I'd like to share once more about the expressions of children. This is part 9 of my photo collection.
The photos I took with my Nikon D5500 camera are of my students participating in a cultural carnival to celebrate Indonesia's Independence Day. Every 17th of August, we commemorate our independence with various events, and one of them is the cultural carnival.
This cultural carnival is participated in by all the schools in our city, from elementary to high school. It involves thousands of students dressed in the traditional attire of Indonesia. As we know, Indonesia's customs and cultures are incredibly diverse, with each province having its own unique traditions.
In some of these photos, I see the expressions of children who are genuinely delighted to take part in the cultural carnival. The children walk through the city, even though the weather is scorching hot, they still radiate happiness.
