When I returned to the village, I saw a lot of betel nuts in my uncle's warehouse. My uncle is a betel nut trader. Betel nut farmers sell betel nuts to my uncle. Then my uncle sells betel nuts in large quantities to even bigger traders. In this village, betel nuts are a mainstay commodity for farmers. When the price of betel nuts soars, farmers get good welfare. But unfortunately, now the price of betel nuts has dropped drastically.
