Every human being is bound to die! No one can predict when death will come. However, there are many ways to die. I wouldn't choose to be eaten by a shark to face death. If I am eaten by a shark, there is nobody for my family to bury. Being eaten by a shark would mean losing everything about me.
Falling out of an airplane without a parachute is also not my preferred death option. The plane could have crashed in the middle of the ocean, and my body would never have been found by even the most sophisticated equipment. Maybe the body that fell in the middle of the ocean had been eaten by the fish in the sea. Or perhaps the plane crashed in the middle of the forest and caught fire, and my body was burned.
If I die, then my body must be buried in a proper place so that my family can make a pilgrimage. Well, the option of dying by being trampled by a herd of elephants is more to my liking, even though it seems ridiculous. I say ridiculous because I had more chances to save myself when I was among a herd of elephants. I could have ducked out of the way of the elephant herd. Or climbed a higher tree. But if I was unlucky, I was still unlucky. While trying to avoid the herd of elephants, I could have tripped on the tree's roots and fallen. Or the tree I was climbing had a brittle branch that broke, causing me to fall to the ground.
My body will remain there if I die trampled by a herd of elephants. Unless other hungry beasts eat my body until it is gone. As I said earlier, if I die, my body must be buried in a proper place. Of the three options for how to die, being trampled by a herd of elephants gives my body a good chance of remaining intact, albeit imperfectly.
The body in the grave reminds our family that I was once among them in good times and bad. The family can make a pilgrimage whenever they want if they remember me. They may send prayers or benevolent words to the body even though it does not affect the existence of my spirit in the other world.
That is why I prefer to die by being trampled by a herd of elephants. I wrote the answer for fun to the topic proposed by @galenkp for the WEEKEND EXPERIENCES Community. Hopefully, the answer can please him. Have a great weekend!
