For some reason it doesn't appear in the list, but you should find it listed on the Account tab and adjacent to that a Deposit button. Click this and it'll give you the details to send Steem to your Bitshares

Which part are you struggling with? This basic summary from reddit ( explained it quite nicely I thought: It's a coin (symbol BTS), like Bitcoin (BTC), but also a platform (which can lead to some confusion).

You've got to make your own investment decisions. Bitshares is really solid tech, but Bitcoin has brand recognition and Ethereum had a very successful marketing campaign. In the end, you've got to ask
