πͺπΈ ~ Los gatitos en casa la pasaron muy mal en Navidad por culpa de la pirotecnia, sumado tristemente tambiΓ©n a los vecinos sin conciencia que colocan (hasta ayer por la noche) mΓΊsica a niveles de volumen absurdos por muchas horas seguidas.
πΊπΈ ~ The kittens at home had a very bad time at Christmas because of the fireworks, sadly compounded by inconsiderate neighbors who played music at absurdly high volumes for hours on end (until last night).
En el comportamiento de cada uno se notan la secuelas de ese stress, pasan mas horas durmiendo durante el dΓa y te persiguen por toda la casa, no quieren estar solos, especialmente Kamui y Enki, que tambiΓ©n estΓ‘n mucho mas conversadores de lo acostumbrado.
The effects of this stress are noticeable in their behavior. They spend more hours sleeping during the day and follow you around the house. They don't want to be alone, especially Kamui and Enki, who are also much more talkative than usual.
Hoy es un dΓa bastante peculiar, seguro si vez las noticias ya sabrΓ‘s a quΓ© me refiero.
La atmosfera aquΓ es extraΓ±a, hay mucho silencio afuera, y aunque muchas cosas estΓ‘n sucediendo hoy solo quise quedarme con mis gatitos un poco mas por la maΓ±ana descansando.
Siento que de una manera que no se puede describir con palabras, nos reconfortamos los unos a los otros en el simple pero precioso hecho de acompaΓ±arnos como familia asΓ, pacΓficamente.

The atmosphere here is strange, it's very quiet outside, and even though there's a lot going on today, I just wanted to stay with my kitties a little longer this morning, relaxing.

En estos momentos estoy un poco preocupada porque queda poca comida concentrada para gato en casa, se suponΓa que iba a salir por la tarde de compras pero buscarΓ© una opciΓ³n con delivery.
Mis amigos en distintas partes de la ciudad me dicen que las calles estΓ‘n solitarias pero las tiendas de comestibles, agua o medicamentos tienen bastante afluencia.
Right now, I'm a little worried because we're running low on cat food at home. I was supposed to go shopping this afternoon, but I'll look for a delivery option instead.
My friends in different parts of the city tell me that the streets are deserted, but the grocery stores, water stores, and pharmacies are quite busy.
Este dΓa para mi se siente como un dΓa fuera del tiempo, y mi intuiciΓ³n me dice que me quede en casa; y en vista de los acontecimientos no quiero dejar que los michis salgan como acostumbran a tomar el sol.
Para compensarlos y subir los Γ‘nimos hoy les prepararΓ© para cenar una mezcla de sopa con trocitos de carne de res y pollo, para los michis de la casa pero tambiΓ©n para compartir con los gatitos comunitarios, que seguro la pasaron peor respecto al tema del ruido por estar afuera durante Navidad y AΓ±o Nuevo.
Today feels like a day out of time to me, and my intuition tells me to stay home. Given the circumstances, I don't want to let the cats go out as they usually do to sunbathe.
To make it up to them and cheer them up, today I'll make them a soup with bits of beef and chicken for dinner, not just for the cats in the house but also to share with the neighborhood cats, who surely had a harder time with the noise from being outside during Christmas and New Year's.
