【 Primera entrada para el concurso de reciclaje de DIYHUB 】 A inicios de semana me encontré con esto y aunque no siempre soy el usuario mas listo para entender puntualmente lo que piden los concursos en Hive, hay un proyecto que creo quedara de maravilla como participación aquí, y es que quiero hacer un mini bag o cross bag con la tela sobrante de los arreglos de costura que hice en este blog diario hace unos dias, porque la verdad esos retazos tienen una calidad muy bonita como para desecharla sin mas, es decir, es tela nueva... incluso estoy tentada a hacer un top pero temo ser demasiado ambiciosa y que quede mal.

I'm even tempted to make a top but I'm afraid I'm too ambitious and it will look bad.

【 Segundo proyecto para el concurso de reciclaje de DIYHUB 】 El segundo proyecto que espero alcanzar a fabricar para el concurso, ya que permite multiples entradas, es esta transformación de funda de almohada a cojín decorativo. Pero espera, hay algo especial en esa funda de almohada: Forma parte del último regalo que me dió mi abuelita materna, ella mandó a hacer un juego de sabanas para mí cuando era niña, y esta pieza es lo único que me queda de eso. Quiero darle nueva vida y no solo tenerlo guardado en un cajón como recuerdo.

【 Second project for the DIYHUB Recycling Contest 】 The second project I hope to reach to make for the contest, since it allows for multiple entries, is this pillowcase-to-decorative cushion transformation. But wait, there's something special about that pillowcase: It's part of the last gift my maternal grandmother gave me, she had a set of sheets made for me when I was a child, and this piece is the only thing I have left of that. I want to give it new life and not just keep it in a drawer as a memento.

【 Proyecto de costura, rediseño con la tela de mi vestido de "Quinceañera", que use en mi fiesta de 15 años 】 Amo y odio al mismo tiempo mi vestido de quinceañera. Larga historia. Pero actualmente el caso es que empece a desarmarlo para reciclar la tela y decidí que quiero transformarlo en algo que me guste y que pueda usar hoy día como ropa casual. La falda es especialmente amplia y de dos capas, ya le quité la pretina que era ancha y de un material extraño. En el post de este proyecto incluiré fotos de esa fiesta para que vean cómo era el vestido completo.

【 Sewing project, redesign with the fabric of my “Quinceañera” dress, which I wore for my 15th birthday party 】 I love and hate at the same time my quinceanera dress. Long story. But actually the thing is that I started to take it apart to recycle the fabric and I decided that I want to transform it into something that I like and that I can wear today as casual wear. The skirt is especially wide and two-ply, I removed the waistband that was wide and made of a strange material. In the post for this project I will include photos from that party so you can see what the whole dress looked like.

【 Proyecto de costura, recuperación de jean retro de tiro alto 】 ¡Tengo años con este jean guardado!, al principio no me gustaba, luego si, luego no, no se explicarlo. Es herencia de una de mis primas mayores, que me llevan casi 10 años de diferencia. Quiza porque la bota de los pantalones era acampanada y siempre detesté ese estilo, incluso lo corté y ahora es demasiado corto, pero quiero intentar algo arriesgado y con muchas decoraciones, quisiera tener un pantalon divertido para usar en casa o para cuando salga a comprar las verduras jajaja.

【 Sewing project, high rise retro jean recovery 】 I have years with this jean in storage!, at first I didn't like it, then yes, then no, I don't know how to explain it. It is inherited from one of my older cousins, who are almost 10 years ahead of me. Maybe because the boot of the pants was flared and I always hated that style, I even cut it and now it's too short, but I want to try something risky and with many decorations, I would like to have a fun pants to wear at home or for when I go out to buy vegetables hahaha.

【 Parte N° 2 de "La Michi Pizzeria" 】 La pizzería de gatitos he tardado en terminarla porque me quedé sin inspiración. Después de planificarlo demasiado me sentí insegura sobre los colores y los dibujos que quería para terminar esta estación de juego para gatos, lo que me dio mucha pena porque cuando la armé lo hice con muchísima ilusión. Hoy, ya tengo una idea de qué hacer y espero traer el resultado final antes que Junio termine; tambien es que aunque no este lista, todos los gatos de mi casa lo aman y juegan allí así que definitivamente vale la pena que haga un esfuerzo por cumplir este proyecto.

【 Part N° 2 of “La Michi Pizzeria” 】 The kitty pizzeria I have been slow to finish because I ran out of inspiration. After planning it too much I felt unsure about the colors and patterns I wanted to finish this cat play station, which made me very sad because when I put it together I did it with a lot of illusion. Today, I already have an idea of what to do and I hope to bring the final result before June is over; also, even if it is not ready, all the cats in my house love it and play there so it is definitely worth my effort to accomplish this project.
