Gareth Bale's move to Real madrid in September 2013 threateningly broke records, a transfer fee of £100m which beat Cristiano Ronaldo's previous£80m record on his move to Real madrid.
Bale is and has always been known for his explosive speeds, excellent crossing and distance shots on the goal, things were going well until he lost the playing minutes especially when Zinedine Zidane came to Real Madrid as a manager. His form has not been so good of late but so is the overall performance of Real Madrid as a top team. The 7-3 defeat to Atletical madrid where of course bale did not play stirred so many words from the fans, some fans believe that they could be some personal issues between Zidane and the welsh Winger. Bale's agent, Jonathan Barnett, spoke to La Journal du Dimanche (h/t Glen Williams for MailOnline) about the relationship between Zidane and Bale,he said there has never been any relationship between the Welsh winger and Zidane.

Again, Gareth Bale has not been included in Real Madrid's squad for their upcoming pre-season trip to Germany. He will not play against his former team Tottenham.
Gareth Bale was to join a Chinese club Jiangsu Suning on a deal worth a reported £1m-a-week, though it's unclear why the deal wasn't completed. Bale move could have been interfered by the transfer fee because Bale is an over valued player right now but they don't want him at the Spanish capital as stated by Zinedine Zidane.

Zidane could have gotten a new system, a revised strategy on how the Spanish giants would deploy starting next season, so far not so good as Madrid's defeat to Atletico Madrid has been one of the worst. Maybe Zidane's new system doesn't require Bale's attributes as a performer, besides Real Madrid has been going through some major changes ever since Cristiano Ronaldo left for Juventus.
At 30 years Bale still has more years to shine in a top tier team, but in a small team, I doubt. His form has not been so good due to mostly injuries that he only has about 155 appearances in La Liga ever since he joined. He has scored 78 goals for Real Madrid since 2013.
I think it's better that he moves on and this would be good for both parties, him and Real Madrid.
Hope he finds a better a place.
