While in a tunnel a fellow photographer and I took full advantage of the darkness, using lights and steel wool.

The special part of the explore was the tunnel itself, The Chedoke Waterfall Tunnel. I have been wanting to explore this tunnel for more than a decade and had been trying to figure out how to get into it 100's of times (every time I hiked to the waterfall). It is called an urban creek, a creek that was rerouted into an underground tunnel to accommodate development.

A couple of days ago I was on a walk near the waterfall and spotted a manhole that went down to it, but couldn't try during the day because of traffic etc. So my friend and I went back at night and made it in. It was amazing to get inside of after so many years but it wasn't really anything special. Outside of the arched tunnel at the top of the falls, it was a straight rectangle tunnel for the whole 4km that we walked.
