Light trails was the first form of light painting that I did, many years ago. And it is a long exposure style that I have always loved! Over all those years I have tried many technics but none as challenging as this!

The Mavic mini 2 drone has a max exposure time of 4 seconds, which is no where near the usual 10 to 100 seconds that I normally use. The camera is also further away from the traffic, combining the further distance and shortened time. Well I have failed several times so far. But last night I feel like I started to finally get the hang of it and captured these shots.

The drone was at the height of 85 feet and I angled the camera low enough to only capture a section of the streets. Which allowed for the trails to run through the shot (for the most part). I definitely need more practice and will be out again the next night that there is no wind!
