Sitting in the middle of what is now Chedoke golf course, is a small building in the middle of some bushes.
The building is the last remains of what used to be the Chedoke ski hill that was closed in the 1960s. Below are some historical photos I have found of the ski hill.
The building houses the gears and what is left of the machinery to operate the ski lift. A lot has been torn out, there is a lot of evidence of squatters and it looks like some teenagers use it as a party spot.
I'm surprised it has been left to sit how it is, but very glad it is. It is a very cool glimpse of what was!
