This house once stood across the street from an amusement park. The park was open from 1903 until 1978 and for the 60s and 70s this house was home to Hal's Grill. I can only imagine how cool of a spot this would have been back in those days! Owning a restaurant with an amusement park in front of it and a beach (lake Ontario) only 20 feet behind it. Business must have been great!
After the park closed, Hal's did the same and the house was lived in for a while then eventually was split into two apartments. In late 2022 the house was vacated and demolition notices were put up. In fact there are two more houses and a business beside it that are also being demolished, and all will be replace with townhouses.

After exploring this one, I came back less than a week later to explore one of the other houses (one is still lived in) and found this. They weren't wasting any time at all in demolishing this house and probably wont for the other abandoned one (post of that one coming soon). It is really strange, this one now demolished. Next to it an active house then another abandoned one.
