Hello again good folk of Steemit.

This is my second day here, so I'm still learning all the In's and Out's of being here. Must get round to looking through the guides...

Like I said yesterday in my intro post, I have been drawing since a youngster. I have been making things since around that age too. First of all just sewing clothes for my dolls (hate the things now!), then making buildings for my Dad's train set (old clockwork type!), patchwork bags and quilts, pottery...you name it, I probably gave it a go, lol.

All that fell by the wayside as adulting took over, work, family, house, garden. Until I got bored and got back into my drawing.

It started with some sketches of buildings in my village, from which I made cards and prints to sell at at craft fairs. Then I did more elaborate drawings, coloured them in and started to make cards with them as the feature image. This got me into blogging and entering card challenges. Lots of people said I should sell my pics, and so my 'Delicious Doodles' business was born!

Being a one woman enterprise means I have to do everything, from the drawings, uploading to the shop, marketing to making samples. It is tiring. My eyes are wearing out slowly. I have callouses on my hands and fingers. BUT I do enjoy what I do!

I may not be known to the general public. I am not famous. I don't earn vast amounts of cash selling my little images (shame).

I would dearly LOVE to give up having to work at my 'real' job and just draw all day every day
Until that day comes (if ever) I shall just plod along doing my own thing. Hope for some sales. Mooch around looking at what other people have made with my art.

Onwards and upwards folks!
xx
