Depends on what level you are in. I'm going to assume bronze. I go up against a lot of decks using Alric (+1 magic) and wavesmith (+2 armor). Personally I use Bortus (-1 Magic) along with Seamonster and Crustacean King. By nerfing his magic he can't hit my seamonster hard enough to overcome regeneration and then my opponent is down for the count.
