Teresita era una niña de seis añitos que vivía muy feliz con sus padres y hermanos en una hermosa casa, iba a la escuela y jugaba el resto del día después de hacer los deberes escolares, ya que, era muy buena estudiante.

Pero un día todo cambió, tuvieron que mudarse a una casita muy pequeña y humilde, sus padres no tenían dinero para comprarles ropa, zapatos, útiles escolares, ella no entendía que había pasado y nadie le daba una explicación.

Pasaron los meses y la situación no mejoraba y los días de Teresita eran alegres porque estaba con sus seres queridos y eso la mantenía feliz apesar de su pobreza.

Un día se vio envuelta en otra mudanza, tanto de casa como de pueblo y la situación cambió un poquito para bien, pero la mayor alegría para ella fue la llegada de una hermanita.

Ya Teresita tenía 10 años y en las mañanas iba a la escuela pero en las tardes en vez de jugar cuidaba a su hermosa hermanita, así ayudaba a su mamita y hacia lo que más le gustaba compartir juegos y protegerla.

Pero un día la sombra de la tristeza cubrió ese hogar tan humilde pero tan feliz y sobre todo la vida de teresita, Alicia que así se llamaba su hermanita se enfermó gravemente.
Empezó con una tos muy fuerte que cada día aumentaba más y más sin que ningún remedio le hiciera efecto los médicos no sabían que más hacer.

Una noche fue tan fuerte la tos que se ahogo y perdió la fuerza y el conocimiento, así la sacaron para el hospital donde quedó ingresada y le hicieron todos los estudios y descubrieron reciduos de lana en los pulmones de la niña, y tenía una grave infección.

Después de meses de tratamiento y muchos cuidados Alicia se recuperó y Teresita volvió hacer muy feliz y a pasar las tardes enteras con su adorada hermanita, que no podía volver a usar cosas de lana ni jugar con peluches, pero totalmente feliz y con mucha salud.

Teresita was a six year old girl who lived very happily with her parents and siblings in a beautiful house, she went to school and played the rest of the day after doing her homework, since she was a very good student.

But one day everything changed, they had to move to a very small and humble house, her parents had no money to buy them clothes, shoes, school supplies, she did not understand what had happened and no one gave her an explanation.

One day she was involved in another move, both of house and town and the situation changed a little for the better, but the greatest joy for her was the arrival of a little sister.

Teresita was already 10 years old and in the mornings she went to school but in the afternoons instead of playing she took care of her beautiful little sister, thus helping her mommy and doing what she liked the most, sharing games and protecting her.

But one day the shadow of sadness covered that humble but happy home and above all Teresita's life, Alicia, that was her little sister's name, became seriously ill.
She began with a very strong cough that increased more and more each day, and no remedy had any effect, the doctors did not know what else to do.

One night the cough was so strong that she choked and lost strength and consciousness, so they took her to the hospital where she was admitted and they did all the studies and discovered wool in the girl's lungs, and she had a serious infection.

After months of treatment and a lot of care Alicia recovered and Teresita returned to be very happy and to spend the whole afternoons with her beloved little sister, who could not use wool things or play with stuffed animals, but she was totally happy and in good health.
