It's awesome when you get a chance to be part of a new platform with huge growth possibilities and revenue generation options that don't aggravate you constantly.
To be fair, it's not like Steemit is my first dabble into crowdsourced journalism. I still post on Medium occasionally. But more importantly than that, I got the chance to write for Slant News while it still existed and that was pretty sick. And then it died. It was supposed to come back, but it's been over a year, and nothing has actually occured regarding it in that timespan, so I suppose it's safe to say that it is dead.
Thankfully, we happen to be on the Internet where anyone can create anything given enough time, money, stolen code from StackOverflow, and bodging. So, let's give this another shot, eh?
