Hello Hello to all you wonderful Hivians

It is Tuesday and that of course means that it's #ttt or #threetunetuesday and so it's time to share some tunes with you!

ablaze@ablaze started #ttt 121 weeks ago! Go check out what it is all about on his latest post Damian Marley for Three Tune Tuesday - Week 122 - 10 HBI shares to be won!

Do go support ablaze@ablaze as without him we would not have this mental fun musical activity that you can win HSBI from! I am happy to be one of the TEN sponsors and it is kinda fun checking out music from all over this global village of ours!

Long live #ttt 😁🎼 and #threetunetuesday

So I have mentioned the post from ablaze@ablaze what I did not mention was that he loves his golf as do I. Unfortunately, I don't play anymore but I was cheering on Europe in the Ryder Cup in the weekend as they strolled to a fantastic victory.

I decided to make this ttt a golfing ttt!

The picture above is of the Old Course in St Andrews the home of golf and is where I took dreemsteem@dreemsteem samsmith1971@samsmith1971 and penderis@penderis to in January this year but they were doing renovations so you could not get on the course.

Golf ~ What fluffing nutter tries to make a post about golfing music?

This fluffing nutter is who!

Bohemian Rhapsody - A golfing parody tribute

This is a pretty clever tune and that there is much history behind it. And first up it is about golfers in Australia!

The youtube link actually has a great description about the song and the golfers and all the lyrics.

Essentially the video and it is a parody of course of Queen and Bohemian Rhapsody. Four male golfers have been for ten years having an annual golfing trip to play four Murray river golf courses in Australia. They always made parody songs and this one is the culmination of those ten years.

It all started with a protest song and after that being well received, parody songs became an annual feature of the trip. Eight guys, four days, 54 holes.

After years of raising the standard of song production, one year we decided to produce a six song album dedicated to the legendary Queen, titled "A day on the Greens". The only criticism of the album was its failure to include Bohemian Rhapsody. I took it on as a challenge.

So from Down Under we nip across the pond for our next tune.

Duff Daddy - That Golf Song

There are actually quite a few golf songs once you start digging into it.

But these amateur parody songs are quite fun I think.

This one actually reminds me of when I would play in Florida so there you go.

We went travelled geographically for the first two tunes but for this third and final tune we are travelling BACK in time.

Many people say that this is actually the first golfing song.

Bing Crosby - Straight Down The Middle

Bing Crosby's enjoyable recording of "Straight Down The Middle" from 31/12/1957.

Bing Crosby wrote the song for a short 1948 film called "Honor Caddy" with Bing Crosby, Bob Hope, Ben Hogan and Sam Snead.

I hope that you enjoyed these golfing tunes.

Which was your favourite (if any) ?
