monks take a bowl and go round the community collecting whatever the local devotees give them, begging in other words, from people far less fortunate.

It reminds me of the tithe system that still seems to be prevalent amongst so many congregations of people far less fortunate etc.

So that is what the 7 floors are for. If they represent paradise then yeah I am sure the first three will have enough paradises for simple me!
