Hello Hello Hivers, Hivians and any other wonderful being who has stumbled onto this!
Welcome to Wednesday.
What a night we had last night in Scotland!
After 28 years we have done it again. Can you guess, well read on if not!
Before I forget, Happy International Men's Day to all us men!
Saturday 9am November 15th 2025
Okay so back to the post and this is a walk from Saturday morning. I had a couple of jobs to do in town.
The weather was beautiful so we walked into town.
Big ball spotted!
I did not pick it up, although I might had we been on our way home as opposed to going in to town!
The Scout strikes again
Being that Mrs T is a large part native American I call her The Scout as she is forever finding stuff and picking it up.
This wee bundle of sharp metal rods could have spike a car tyre so they were picked up!
I just love this building and the naked trees and railings make for a bonnie wee pic!
In to town we went, shadow time lol if you look at me on the left in the picture above you can see the phone and I am holding two big bags ... What were they for?
No I was not joining the Army Reserves!
Actually the Royal Navy was my service and I was in the CCF at school, and even in uni I did stuff with the RN.
The Auld Kirk looking resplendent now the scaffolding has been removed.
I am hoping to catch a carol service there this Christmas.
The Back Wynd into town...
Do you have any wynds in your country?
The venue for job number 1 is in view! Can you guess what it is?
Barty's
This was where we did our Valentine's night sip and paint project. I should really make a post on it one day, lol join the list of posts needing made!
Wetherspoon's the job location
Beer Breakfast
Getting paid to eat and drink on a Saturday morning, can't beat it!
Christmas is here!
Actually they do a really good Turkey meal and I may well take Mrs T here next Thursday for Thanksgiving meal.
More balls, golden ones this time!
Charity time. Barnardo's is a children's charity and one that I love to frequent and help.
Remember the bag shadows?
This was them and they are full of bubble wrap. If you have any then do give them to charity shops so they can wrap things in. Every penny they save can help someone!
Shopping time, so it was approaching noon and we gave the shops a bit of a beating!
Taking a breather before we walk home. Thankfully the weather held.
But wait, look what Mrs T found now...
An Argentina Ball for the World Cup!
Of course I immediately thought of @nancybriti1 and her adulation of the GOAT Messi!
For me though, there was too much going on with premonitions ....
Scotland were playing on Tuesday night at home. Beat Denamrk and they qualify for the World Cup...
The Tartan Army is going to the States for the World Cup!
Finally after 28 years.
This post is for #wednesdaywalk which was inspired by @tattoodjay
Thanks for visiting and I hope you managed to get out for a walk this week.
