It's Sunday and the weather up here in this part of the east coast of Scotland has been wet and meh!
However on Friday it was absolutely glorious, and I grabbed the chance to pop up to our local park.
The park in question is Beveridge Park, so named after Mrs Beveridge who was the wife of the mayor of Kirkcaldy almost 200 years ago who thought there should be places that the citizens here could relax and unwind in!
So we have this wonderful park, which she got her husband to donate the land it was built on.
This island I call ...
Why Love Island?
Well I used to write wildlife stories here back where there was lots of engagement on Hive and one character was Dafty the Pomerian duck.. He was a bit of a love god! He had female ducks fawing all over him. Who can remember Molly and Milly the female mallards.
He was partial to his threesomes and headed on over to Love Island for his privacy!
Love Island in all its glory in centre of the boat pond.
So yes it was a gorgeous day and once the photo taking was over with, I fed the birds which was the main reason to be there. The reflections photos were a bonus from the Universe!
Yes it's that time for me to choose my entry picture!
Love Island Reflections
This was a tricky choice.
I am going with this shot as it has a bit of everything. Yes it has the gorgeous tree reflections, but it also has a flying bird watching over it all to give that particular picture a wee bit more about it!
I never know which picture to choose as the entry, and I do try to make a story with my posts rather than just a post and a run kind of thing!!
What do you think? Did I pick the suitable one, or would you have chosen another one?
Today's post is also for #SublimeSunday which is inspired by @c0ff33a and #BeautifulSunday which is initiated by
