It is Tuesday and that of course means that it is #ttt or #threetunetuesday and so it's time to share some tunes!
I love the 80s and I know this is week 88 of ttt and so yesterday I was playing sounds from 1988 hehe, let's see what you think!
Let's get stuck right in...
If you wish to participate in Three Tune Tuesday then I defer you to the simple jist on how to do it from @ablaze ...
The jist is as follows
Every Tuesday I'm going to share 3 songs which I like to listen to and I invite your feedback in the comments below. Better still, why not have a blast of your own Three Tune Tuesday and mention me in the post and I'll come and find the post and upvote it. If you could also use #ttt or #threetunetuesday tags that would be great. It'll be a sweet way for us all to discover new music. You'll also be in with a chance of winning the prize - more on that later.
This week is week 88 of ttt and if you wish to participate then follow the rules laid out by @ablaze in his post from last week Ren for Three Tune Tuesday Week 87
Formalities over, let's get back to 1988!
There are so many bands and musicians to choose from, narrowing that down to 3 let alone only choosing three tunes is proving mightily hard!
I think you will see that these 3 tunes I have chosen are pretty diverse, and that shows my music likes, from one extreme to another!
Over the years I had done thousands of miles of driving, and this was a tune I played many many times, if you are ever wanting a wake you song when driving, then stick on The Race from Yello!
Eddy Grant is such a talented and underrated singer. This is a banger of an upbeat song, that many of us here missed the message about apartheid in here.
Like I said I am struggling to limit myself to less than 10 馃ぃ馃ぃ馃ぃ
So enough with the men, let's pick a lady or three!
Belinda Carlisle is one of my favourite singers and Heaven Is a Place on Earth was one of her greatest songs so this is a must!
Ah Kylie, now here is some weekly ttt earworm material!
Who would guess that the wee girl who appeared on the Aussie soap opera Neighbours would go onto become such a global sensation!
And aren't we all so lucky for finding HIVE!
Yeah I wrote the title when I twigged that this song was from 1988.
One of my favourite pep talks for people who are feeling a wee bit down, is to tell them to go look at a mirror. Now point at that person and tell them how Awesome they are! Of course we can replace Awesome with Perfect, because we are ALL PERFECT in our OWN little WAY
The lead singer Eddi Reader I think has a nigh on Perfect voice and of course she is Scottish so say no more!
Note: The three YouTube videos that I have shared are not owned by me, I am simply spreading great music on Hive.
I wish that you all have a brilliant rest of your week, and until we meet again enjoy your tunes 馃幎馃幍馃幎
