It's Sunday night and we are halfway through August. My birthday is on Thursday and of course, with an approaching birthday, one does get to ruminate about things.
For me, it is time to quit. Well, quit is not necessarily the right term, but I do intend to cash out what I can.
If you are like me, then when your heart is not into something, then you end up doing a half-arsed job and that for me is a waste of fluffing time.
First of all, I am not talking about Hive nope no chance, nor am I talking about LeoFinance oh hell no.
I shall drop a wee clue, it is in the gaming sphere, more precisely it is a play2earn game.
Noooo it is not CraftInk which imho will be The Hive game of 2023 speaking of @craftink have you joined in with my Giveaway post from yesterday Win prizes from this new dolphin to celebrate HiveFest magazine HiQ...
I shall give you a wee minute to enter by commenting on that post and possibly win yourself a pack.
Right are you back?
Okay , I thought about prolonging the list, you know say nope it is not Rising Star, nope not dCity, nope not blah blah...
But life is short, so I am quitting Splinterlands
At one point I climbed to the lofty status of Diamond League, I mean I rented cards to get there, but fluff me if the rewards were not shite, same as Bronze or Silver League basically just more of them.
Daily Rewards and End of Season Loot chests ... I feel as if I was the one who was looted!
Joking aside you will see some links in this post. well they are linking back to the amazing SplinterGlossary.
Part of my problem was not knowing what to do, fluff me if they do not seem to be releasing new packs, or having new proposals or burning packs, building land or some other thing going on every week.
I never got it, never got the bug. In fact I actually bought my first spell book with @tengolotodo13 but I'll be fluffed if I don't remember how to get into the account!
Anyway as you can imagine I have next to no cards. And then all I seem to getting when I do play are cards that appear to have no value? So why play?
Like I said I do it periodically and would be better off spending time engaging with people on Threads or even Waves.
Is it even possible to sell these basic cards?
It is not exactly going to set the heather on fire now is it!
Gaming is fun and plays a massive massive part in crypto adoption in my opinion. I won't stop playing games, but will focus on newer games, where we have a chance to get somewhere without wasting investing too much.
If any of you know the best way to sell/trade cards etc please drop a comment down below!
Many thanks in advance.
