Today was a day where I stayed home to look after food!! Tomorrow I will be going out into town to do some volunteer work. It was a decent day. Looked after the turkey in the oven, then made the rest of the dinner before the fam got back home. It was a good feast time!! Plenty of leftovers for awhile, plus I will make a soup or two.
Been thinking about how to connect with people again. Been dissolutioned from the social and cultural for a long time. Now with Covid it has got more pronounced. I really gotta find my self, do what I love to do and express myself openly while being willing to meet some other new people. Also connect more some I already sort of know. I know I have allot to talk about, I have interests, I am an interesting person. People can get to know me, see what my life is like. A friend of mine echoed that sentiment on social media recently.
I will keep eating more right, take care of myself so I have the energy and capacity for a new friend or two. It's hard to know where to go to meet new people. Social media is not a good place for that I think. I like real life. I go to the pub from time to time and coffee shops. That's alright. It's tougher with the pandemic. The second wave is already coming. Makes me want to be even more open and kind.
Working on art and music, reading, all that, keeps me sane and right. I do have to push myself to get out. Sometimes just being around people is enough. If I keep busy like doing shopping etc sometimes I can see more folks around. I want to just keep up the craft, gives me something to talk about too. I want to drop the worry and some habits. I remind myself it's worth it for the breakthrough I've been sensing.
Ok that was good, I got some thoughts out. Now time for bed and tomorrows next life adventure!! I have been working on a song in the last week or so. Hoping to get more done with it in the next day. Maybe I will have something releasable by night.
