In a simple definition, grace is a divine provision, an unmerited favour of God made available to mankind. This grace was initiated at the beginning of the world when man was created with the advantage of being a friend of God, naming the creatures of God. But when he sinned, the grace was lost. He was sent out of the garden, sorrow and anguish set in. What a great lost to have misplaced the grace of God.
Since this time, every human has been struggling with pleasing God, achieving greatness all because we are short of the glory of God - "...for all have sinned...Romans 3: 2 23, 5:12.
These challenges are now put at rest with entrance of individual to the palace where there is throne of grace. The throne of grace is the place where mercy is obtained. Not only mercy, grace to be favoured, grace that saves, grace that gives help, grace in trouble, grace to maintain success, grace that gives help in time of need.
All the above can be obtained at the throne of grace but with boldness. Hebrews 4:16 KJV. "Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need".
When there is need for salvation, go straight to the throne of grace, if it is favour, blessing, success, healing or deliverance, the best place to go is the throne of grace where mercy and grace in time of need could be obtained.
