Between African and Western culture, what a great prompt to write about. Actually I'm an African man, and i we always support Africa culture all the time.
African dressing is a mode of dress that entice me all the times, or whenever I see someone who dresses in my culture. In my state as a Yoruba's. The men wear Agbada while the female wear Buba and iro. I cherish this when I saw my grandfather wearing this clothes, and attending a royal meeting.
The reason is that, it gives them respect when they wear clothes, even though, it is only the elderly people that usually wear is type of cloth.
And give me joy, when our king wear this Agbada cloth sew with OFI during this yam festival ( UDIROKO ). Is clothes fit the chiefs and elders and Is just like a honorable cloth on them.
Secondly, AFRICAN MUSIC
The music as a universal language.In African we have different types of music and great musician. Like DELE MARTINA is one of a grea)//t Africa musician from Yoruba land and one of the best, popular musician and know by Yoruba kings in Ekiti state.
I really love his song, whenever my father is playing his track. Some time I used broom as my irukele.
A cultural material used when dancing a cultural song, And dance to his music.
His music teach people how life is, An entertaining song usually play in palm wine restaurant. Which gives them vibes when enjoying themselves.
Lastly, AFRICAN FOOD.
African food is a food that you can just hiss on, African food is a delicious meal prepare by pretty woman. As we all know that the best food is pounded yam, popularly known as IYAN with different kind of soup you cook on you own, Is a special meal for the kings In Yoruba land that everyone wish to eat every night. Although is not easy to pound but I love eating it anytime I have the chance.
MY CONCLUSION
In my view African culture is better than western culture, some years ago, western people cherish the African culture and try to adopt it, although we all copy each other culture, teach other and even try to adopt it but African culture is the best.
