Yes, it's always good to give back to the society and I love doing it. Although, I almost got discouraged with my last experience. Then I said to myself, I did rather do it directly and personally instead of being in a registered group where I will have to pay to volunteer.

Some of those registered group (NGOs) are fake, they will make you pay to join, take you to events to volunteer (in your mind your are giving back to the society without any form of payment) meanwhile you are just doing what the organization got paid for....too bad!

Like, why would you bargain to volunteer... even if funds will be involved, it should be in form of appreciation and the token will be given at the end of the event.
