My observation; It's not that women have more need to talk than men but we always have something to talk about, we interact alot whether we are much in a group or not, 2 women can enjoy conversing but men needs to be up to 5 or more before they kick off . However, men talks alot too especially in the gathering of 5/7 upward. Thus, men has a lot to talk about too, they just needed the right environment to unleash the spirit. Hence, their population triggers them to talk alot. Take an instance where 5 or more men(football lover) in different football club starts a conversation 😳...you will be shocked😂.

Finally, both women and men talks alot because we are social animal and social animal exhibit social behavior which includes talkativeness among others ...
