Great architect of the written word you are man! I enjoyed reading that, well done! Only the ending was somewhat defeatist so I can't agree with you on that. I see man finally beginning the journey towards walking the outer reaches of the cosmos.

While it may seem that we have detached from our true self it's only because we are creatures that don't adapt readily to change. At the time, we feel we're no longer ourselves. The achievements are realised however, when we look back through the ages and we see our advancements like stepping stones through time.

In future, we will see this digital age as a new parading. A re-imagining of what our SPECIES is. Even.. what SPECIES as an entity can be. Humans are the cells which will constitute them lifeforms of future biomech-systems.

On The Milky Way, I always like to imagine IT too as a species. I imagine what it must feel in that vast space it exists in. Knowing that it's pushing through that vast space relatively alone.. as one super entity of Energy. Would it know of us? Is it aware of what we are up to? Is it aware of Andromeda?

So for that I wonder and try to imagine a very distant future when The Milky Way and Andromeda are set to merge. I imagine it from the existential perspective of the galaxies and from the life forms that would be experiencing it from the ground.. like the perspective of those ants you referred to.

So no way man.. we haven't peaked.
We've entered a new horizon!

See Human is like you said.. so small.. and those entities above sure do exude GODLINESS. But without us the observer.. who knows it? Who appreciates? For who do the Gods exist? We are a special kind of life form.
