The issue is the content man.
I had this discussion some time ago with the peakD guys in relation to the coders posting black screen bi-weekly update videos. My view is that that type of content is only going to be viewed by die hards, if even!
Frankly it's boring as shit!
I was viewing/listening to the recent video to understand the progress behind the scenes but it itself seems unorganised. I get the feel that people are running their own code project and then they update "the boss" every 2 weeks. The conversation between block and Jack seemed awkward regarding patreon/hivetips. Jack tried to raise a real issue regarding legality but block didn't really let him explain thoroughly and then dismissed it as "we don't need to worry were decentralised" which is false. As long as money is involved legality is always an issue.
Anyway my point is that fair enough these individuals are camera shy, but the points of the meeting need at the least be conveyed with some imagery to give the viewer the vision and induce some emotion to the Hive product. I actually thought about doing that but then I'd need to be in touch with people on discord and I'm adamant against that. It's ridiculous that Hive doesn't have its own robust communication ability.
See this is why I applaud the LEO boys for their round table videos. They entertain, explain and bond with their audience. The recent video introducing new investors also creates a group of characters that people can then relate to.
HIVE needs that! Like as a must!
I don't get why taskmaster and dan don't do it since they're not camera shy and are already putting out video content. As I said on another video. Preaching to the choir is not going to let outsiders know what's up. Got to go out and conquer!
I believe in Hive like you do. I also believe in letting people know the flaws in a thing. Some don't like that but tough. You can't just ignore flaws. A superior system corrects flaws to reach heights of what makes a platform attractive to users.
High level video content matters!
