You inadvertently agree with my previous point that THE GATEKEEPERS run things. Sure crypto is open for all but STAKE is KING. This is what I find perplexing and slightly comical about crypto. People celebrate it as "we will disrupt and make mainstream obsolete" but they also say "crypto will blow up when mainstream money takes notice" thus the paradox is that the people still want to maintain control.
As an example we can view steemit-TRON-hive saga as the event which revealed this as the ultimate conundrum. The people used to say "steemit needs to attract big investors" but when one came along the people said "NOOO.. RUN! SUN IS THE BOOGIE MAN!" Granted the manner of acquisition caused the biggest problems but the point is Big Money doesn't care for the people and the people don't bring big money.
So then what's the future of this industry? Likely not the "great decentralised" that the people dreamed of. Likely not "NOT FOR CORPORATE ELITES" like many think was the future of this technology. The fact that it's open source by default is a positive but also a negative because it doesn't limit anyone from entry. So then the people exist again just the same way as in regular industries. At the mercy and manipulation of Big Wigs.
Imo, the one out: technology in the hands of the user. When we can carry a usb super computer or even have it implanted and wired into our psyche, we are then the ones that sustain systems. Big money means nothing if the systems that Elites seek to dominate don't have the support of the network/minds. Of course this also means money in general by then, means nothing.
As concluded in your previous video: information is then the value and the 'real world network' is the minds which agree on its value. Return To Nature (in a sense) and Ai the grand masters. So actually, maybe the people again won't have the power.
The people forever destined to consume the excrements of the corporate machine or superseded by the rise of sentient machines.
