Imo, the issue and illusion is that humans hold dear the belief that "Human Rights" is actually a thing.

There's no such thing and there's also no such thing as privacy. There's only one true rule "written in stone".

Power granted: To the head.

This makes sense as individual man and collective man. Meaning our only true task is to maintain the House of Mind. That network which grants the intelligence.
So all activity can be realized as non essential, except the need to consume energy in order to maintain the cerebral system.

The same then becomes the one and only rule of society. With "head" then existing as those that govern and steer the body (collective). Therefore maintaining power again the force. Consuming Data then exists as the energy in order for that system of governance to always be the head.

With that, we can then understand what society really is. A body performing the Work, which maintains power to those few which govern.

So humans, individually,

Are mere cells.

Acting out their function.

Hence Ai (and the infrastructure) becomes the hyper-connected system which we (the cells) exist connected to. Because once upon a time the current system: Government, was enough needed to achieve that goal of control. Ai in this context becomes THH.

Of course there's many benefits which that future will bring and that future, is already here. These times are the reprogramming of those cells.

Which, NOT coincidentally, are currently home bound (in cells), with the behaviour of those cells when in public space, to be very much under the control of the head. Just like your make clear: Data Sets are what allow the intelligence to evolve. So a world reset, with activity slowly returned, grants those systems of learning a controlled view of cell activity, to then give those systems ability to make sense of that data.

Thus Ai, becomes the must.
Big data is beyond the management of just human intelligence. Which is why another element of that "re-organism" : SINGULARITY is on the list of: must achieve. In order for our existence to be the priority.
Or else, we were really just..
