I spoke out when Ned trashed this place and made steemit.inc a business.
I knew he would end up selling out.
I knew and spoke about SMT never becoming real.b It was obvious that they had the idea but not the code.
Before communities I made posts that there should also be proposals put to the community so that people committed could be rewarded.
Much more but really nothing got through because cults don't like criticism.

What this place already is..
Just a money game in the corner.
They need to keep selling hope.
After the $8 high then drop though two investors left.
Real investors walked away because drama got to be the product. Infighting was vile.
Poor countries then poured in.
That's what it will continue to be until something THAT REALLY IS NEXT SOCIAL comes along. Not VOICE, that's a joke.

Crypto is losing its shine.
BTC will be the king but more and more people realize the rest are just MLM systems.

I've always seen Blockchain as THE PRODUCT and it will obviously be the core of many future systems. Rewards though aren't really ever going to attract masses.
Money has a bad reputation really..
Something from you needs to be forfeited.
Is the underlying catch that the clever see.
So only poor people accept "working" to get it on this platform.
Everyone else either has no money issues or just wants social without gamification.

That's why this is dying.
Yet obviously the big accounts aren't going to admit it. Or the place dies quicker.
And they don't get the tasty treats.
Look at rewards here though.
A few get ok .. the rest average $10.

The old days obviously were a rare event because it was all new. Plus the money was literally created out of thin air.

That's how MLM works though.
Early birds get fat to make the rest think..."wow we can all get fat..."
So that's the guarantee that they will work hard.. because they think "that big mean is near..."

Won't happen man.

The other thing that this place needs to realize is rewards have tanked. Average $10.
While steemit seems to be giving ten times amount. Plus steemit is essentially THE SOCIAL PLATFORM for Korea. They also secure liquidity. That's a far superior system. They don't need to think of many new ways to "attract masses". They have the mass of KR.
Here though. Everyday a new "this will onboard the universe".

Also because of the rewards difference, many people have began to return to the steemit. These things are important and if not countered will lead to this going even more stale.

My opinion though.
You can continue to think MOON.
Think critically though.
Specially if you continue to put in money here. Or not. Maybe you see differently.
But then as I said. You have to keep believing. That's how cults work see.
