It's so selective though.
So it clearly has one group of "whitelist authors" and then the rest that have no hope of ever breaking into that whitelist.
A quick overview of votes show that it's highly rare that any account with significant holdings ever gets down to "the grassroots level" to give a decent upvote.
When one is there it's a very controlled "here's a few dollars (I'll bless you with no more than a small % of what I could give)" so it's almost like the thought process was "this person is not in the list of: you deserve $20+ from me".
Case in point: Spanish community.
If community is everything that's celebrated here then by default they should be getting super rewards. But even with that initiate by 
That's why I conclude that bottom dwellers is the masses, and whale + friends is a very exclusive and selective club. Reclusive too, I don't see many on the trending page like old days. But in the voting, many of them old heads are still there. Obviously curating that whitelist is rewards enough, why even bother writing crap no one reads anyway!
That ability to vote AND comment without even clicking on the post to view it beyond the title is liken to a public toilet GLORY HOLE.
